Steve Roach 2015 Projekt PRO324 (CD) Reviewed by Darkroom Magazine, Textura A delayed transmission from the early 80's. Discovered serendipitously in 2015, these lost tracks created just prior to the STRUCTURES FROM SILENCE era represent two then-emerging sides of Steve's artistic muse. "Emotion Revealed" is a mesmerizing, yearning sequencer exploration connected to the German school of electronic music. "Firelight" was his first long-form atmospheric composition of emotional introspection — stillness, silence, and solitude. Two essential touchstones of Steve's sonic origin.

Steve Roach 2015 Timeroom Editions 36 (CD) The Dome Zone Within... Created at The Timehouse studio between 2013 and 2015, this ultra-deep zone was first inspired by plans to perform at the Los Angeles Center Studios' Vortex Dome in 2013. Entering this space created an immediate immersive experience, even with no music or visual stimulation within the dome. VORTEX IMMERSION ZONE was born from this geodesic, womb-like space in the same way a natural environment or magnificent cathedral inspires an artist to explore new places within. Over the course of time, portions of this immersion piece were presented live, which in turn would help to magnify how the piece would evolve in the studio. Additional new atmospheres created from the live mode and studio experiments continued to add to the potency and allure of this sonic space, shape-shifting the experience into a new depth as it was completed in late 2015.

Steve Roach 2015 Vinyl on Demand VOD139.SR (Vinyl) Reviewed by ei NOW was the first full album release from Steve Roach. Originally self-produced and released on cassette in 1982, the music shows Steve's early inspiration from the Berlin School of Synthesizer Music; Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze in particular. While these roots are heard here, his personal voice and imagination is on full display. Reviews at the time called NOW an "auspicious debut" and later appraisals consider it well ahead of its time. Recorded almost entirely in real-time, there is an urgent and vital current running inside all these pieces. If you ask Steve about this music and the time it was created, it's direct and telling to the music: "Nothing else mattered".

Steve Roach 2015 Timeroom Editions 33 (CD) This collection of new and previously unreleased pieces tracks the origin of Skeleton Keys. The first five tracks, recorded in 2005, set the idea into motion of creating a project of pure analog synth/sequencer-based music. I wanted to place the attention directly on these pure kinetic forms, intentionally stripped down to the essentials. The focus remains on the purity of the analog sound and the interweave of the patterned melodic strands and the ever-present pulse. Those elements all work together to create the keys for opening into a place of perception only obtained though this form of music.

70-minute CD version Steve Roach 2015 Timeroom Editions 32 (CD) INVISIBLE is a new long-form zone world Steve created while hunkering down in the Timeroom during the last few cold and rain-filled days of 2014. INVISIBLE is an ultra deep primordial dreamscape of shifting mercurial zones. Mist-shrouded amorphous phantasms appear and recede as distant substrata murmurs are felt as much as heard. Just a few days after its creation, it was offered as a gift on New Year's Eve and many were able to travel deeply into the new year in a collective global soundcurrent experience.
